Covid-19 Guidelines

Copper State encourages students to practice healthy habits such as eating healthy, exercising regularly, and enjoying life!! If your child is sick (deep cough, chills, aches, sore throat, nausea/vomiting, greater than 100° temp), please keep him or her home. 

Copper State adheres to the Maricopa County Health Department guidance for K-12 schools (staff and students).  If you have your child tested for COVID-19, please report test results to the office.  All health information is confidential.

COVID-19 Exposure

• If current vaccination or had COVID-19 within the last 90 days, NO  quarantine is necessary. 
• If not current with vaccination, then quarantine for at least 5 days. 
• Masks should be worn around others for 10 days.

Positive COVID-19 test

• Isolate for 5 days.
• May return to school if symptoms have improved and/or fever-free for 24 hours.
• Masks should be worn around others for 10 days.
